It is spent WITH SUPPORT: Administrations of the Irkutsk region and a city of Irkutsk, National guild of floral artists, the Irkutsk organisation of the Union of designers of Russia, the Irkutsk organisation of architects of Russia.
The basic idea of festival: to fill up cultural space of Siberia with professional representations about floristic design, to lift level of that professional knowledge who represents floristic business in region, to affect tastes of general public, offering it samples of high floristic skill.
Meetings of floral artists in Irkutsk have outgrown on a bright holiday for professionals and fans. Today the festival has found traditions, for it wait, about it know in Russia and behind its limits. In 2005 the status "Colours of Baikal has raised ' — the National Guild of Floral artists has held the First regional competition of debutants in Irkutsk. The present festival «Flowers of Baikal — 2007» will collect under the decision of National Guild not only debutants, but also professionals.
